An Antisemitic Speech (Yawn)

Iran's President Ahmadinejad has just made an overtly antisemitic speech. Here's the full text of the English version, as published by his own office (I make the point of linking to the Iranian official website because sooner or later Juan Cole will tell us the man didn't say what he said).

He's the president of a largish country, not a blogger from San Francisco or an anonymous comment writer from the Guardian's CIF. He made the speech in the full glare of a United Nations General Assembly session. Many media outlets were there, and each chose to report on the section of the speech they felt most interesting.

Very very few of them put the man's primitive antisemitism at the center of the report; actually, many didn't seem to have noticed it. Although at NRO the did - but then, NRO is hardly a mainstream outlet, is it.

The lives, properties and rights of the people of Georgia and Ossetia and Abkhazia are victims of the tendencies and provocations of NATO and certain western powers, and the underhanded actions of the Zionists...

The dignity, integrity and rights of the American and European people are being played with by a small but deceitful number of people called Zionists. Although they are a miniscule minority, they have been dominating an important portion of the financial and monetary centers as well as the political decision-making centers of some European countries and the US in a deceitful, complex and furtive manner. It is deeply disastrous to witness that some presidential or premiere nominees in some big countries have to visit these people, take part in their gatherings, swear their allegiance and commitment to their interests in order to attain financial or media support.
This means that the great people of America and various nations of Europe need to obey the demands and wishes of a small number of acquisitive and invasive people. These nations are spending their dignity and resources on the crimes and occupations and the threats of the Zionist network against their will.

  1. FROM CAROL HERMAN

Alas, you'd do well if you understood how the UN came about. It was FDR's idea! And, believe it or not; among the things the British, Dutch, and others LOST, because of WW2 ... was their colonies. FDR even pressed Churchill (who tried so hard to hold onto it) ... India. Which flew out of the British Crown Jewele. While there never was a "thank you" from Ghandi.

Instead? Gandhi wrote love letters to Hilter.

And, when the UN got involved "directing" America to attack Korea ... the diplomatic bags were opened in India ... and the information flowed to the Chinese and the Russians. Hence, was "born" the idea of STALEMATE.

Have Americans learned enough lessons, yet?

Dunno. Not much of a choice IF McCain joins the IDIOT BUSH in this "bail out" scheme. Meaning? Lots of people will repent in leisure.

But bad ideas happen when governments control. And, yes. Wall Street just showed what happens when the "big guys" make terrible decisions. And, then expect taxpayers to fund them.

Bush? He leaves the White House just as he left Harvard and Yale. Wasting the seat he took. While he dribbled away freedom.

    Why Bush?

Because Al Gore and John Kerry were even worse.

Meanwhile, all we own is the Internet. Free, so far, of "big guys" who run their agenda through all of us.

That Amah-wat's-his-name doing his "thing" at the UN? Did you see what the Jews did! Did you see how those rascals decided to "dis-invite" Palin? And, perhaps caved in because of some IRS fears?

Maybe, one day we can take all these "hangers on" ... and force them into having to go to work for their livelihoods. Instead of donning the Morris Talansky "hold up" masks.

This Bush also reminds me of President Buchanan. Who left office in 1860, suprisingly saying "he was the last American president." Today? Hardly anyone even remembers his name. And, Lincoln had to clean up a huge mess. That democratic people let fester.

In today's world, however, we're not discussing slavery. We are, however, becoming aware how the political elites think they can do what they want. And, most voters just get stuck with the bills.

By the way, FDR was not enamored of the europeans. Their costs for WW2 ran very high. And, many of those nations have yet to recover.

Iran is just one country out of many, poorly run.

As to the UN, what they leave, is a stinking record. Perhaps, that's the meaning of "history." For future generations to go back and look at the tragedies ... when incomptent men rise to top positions?

Oh, yeah. And, Shimon Peres, of all people, thinks of himself as "presidential timber."

    It's a mess.

    Very complex.

Maybe this is why all humans die? God knew the costs of giving out the gift of transcending death.

God knows how this will end.

At least you know you're not alone. And, the pundits belong to some other class. They're like diplomats and politicians. They're no longer much of a dependable bunch.

I think history will stick it to a lot of them!

Why? Because it stuck it to Hitler and Stalin!
