Remember Yasser Arafat?

You have to admit that most of the time, you don't. On the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of his death I did a bit of googling, and found remarkably few items mentioning him these past three years. Perhaps he wasn't as important at they told us most of his life.

Here's an article from today telling about how the world has changed since his "mysterious death". To be honest, I find myself unconvinced. Sure, many of the props have been shuffled, but has anything fundamental changed? I expect to mull this over in the coming weeks, as we approach the Annapolis event.
