Benazir Bhutto's Death

I know nothing about Pakistan, and can't tell you anything important about today's assassination, who did it, or which American politician will benefit and who can be blamed. Andrew Sullivan, however, has it right when he writes:
This world is a darker, more irrational place than we know. And these convulsions will surely continue.
A sentence that has been true since forever, and will remain so, in spite of our fervent wishes otherwise.

Muslims Against Sharia condemn the murderers responsible for the assassination of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and her supporters.

Our prayers are with the victims of this atrocity. We send our condolences to their loved ones.

May the homicide bomber rote in hell for eternity. May his accomplices join him soon!

Andrew Sullivan is right,I'm afraid. There's a lot of irrational hatred, darkness. But still: we can influence this place.Rays of hope.Thinking of Benazir Bhutto, this is what she brought. Those who killed her cannot kill the light. The light will win!
